About the event

Hello Wonderful Anatomy and Physiology Folks,

The VCCS A&P peer group has exciting news for the Spring 2024 Semester! Make sure to save the date for the 2024 Anatomy and Physiology Peer Conference on Friday February 23rd and Saturday February 24th. We will have an amazing keynote speaker, Dr. Wendy Riggs, past HAPS president and innovative Anatomy and Physiology instructor to start off the conference followed by more informative sessions. The conference is being held at Brightpoint Community College Midlothian campus.

You can complete Conference Registration whether you are attending in-person or by Zoom.  Registration is free and must be completed by Monday February 12th at 11:59pm. Accommodations for the conference are not covered by the VCCS and reservations will need to be made separately. We currently have a room block for The Holiday Inn Express, but you can request the state room rate at another hotel of your choice.

This is a reminder to also submit a proposal to present at the conference.  Though presenting at the conference is not a requirement to attend, it is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas with colleagues. We ask that you complete the Call for Proposal form by January 15, 2024. All presenters should plan on attending the conference in-person.

If you have any questions about the Call for Proposal, the conference in general, or registration, please contact either Jaime or Marty at jmergliano@brightpoint.edu or mmontpetit@brightpoint.edu.
